The course is split into 8 modules as follows:
- Aims and objectives
- Introducing Managing Safely
- Assessing Risks
- Controlling Risks
- Understanding your Responsibilities
- Identifying Hazards
- Investigation Accidents & Incidents
- Measuring Performance
- Protecting our Environment
At the end of the course delegates are required to sit an assessment and complete a small project; both contribute towards the final pass mark.
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an IOSH Managing Safely® Certificate.

IOSH Managing Safely® is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It’s designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams.
Delivery:
Delivered via Teams technology, the training follows the same curriculum as the classroom course and is delivered to the same standard. The same examination takes place but via our secure online assessment technology.
